Refund Policy

The International Journal of Data Sciences and Intelligent Systems (IJDSS) is committed to maintaining a transparent and fair refund policy regarding Article Processing Charges (APCs) or other publication-related fees. The policy ensures clarity for authors while maintaining the journal’s operational integrity.

Key Guidelines:

  1. Submission Fees: All submission fees, if applicable, are non-refundable, as they cover the initial administrative and editorial processing of the manuscript.

  2. Withdrawal Before Peer Review: If an author withdraws a manuscript before it enters the peer review process, any APCs or pre-paid fees may be partially refunded, minus administrative costs.

  3. Withdrawal During or After Peer Review: Manuscripts withdrawn during or after the peer review process are not eligible for a refund, as resources have already been allocated for evaluation and editorial handling.

  4. Rejected Manuscripts: Manuscripts that are rejected after peer review are generally not refunded, since editorial and reviewer efforts have been invested in the evaluation process.

  5. Payment Issues: In case of accidental double payments or technical errors, the journal will review and process refunds on a case-by-case basis after verification.

  6. Processing Time: Approved refunds, where applicable, are typically processed within 30 days of confirmation.

This policy ensures that authors are informed of financial responsibilities while maintaining the journal’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and ethical publishing practices.
